As an entrepreneur and bioengineer, Cody has shaped his career around delivering advanced health technologies to physicians and patients. He holds a BA degree in Economics & Entrepreneurship in the Engineering track with Bioengineering focus from Brown University. He also received his MSc in Bioengineering from Brown and completed his graduate research at Stanford University.

Before building DermaSensor, Cody spearheaded the business development team for a Silicon Valley medical device screening startup. He also previously worked in business development and commercial strategy roles at Genentech. Cody’s achievements as a young entrepreneur led to him being featured in Forbes 30 under 30’s Healthcare category in 2017.

With over 20 years of experience founding and scaling companies in consumer goods, healthcare, and enterprise technologies, Ryan recently led the growth for a healthcare supply chain technology and previously ran the international manufacturing and distribution of consumer hardware electronics.

As Chief Commercial Officer at DermaSensor, Carolyn Walsh drives commercial strategy, performance metrics, and partner channel development to fuel business growth.

Carolyn brings expertise in digital health platforms, wearable technology, and global market development, having previously worked at leadership roles at BioIntelliSense, Fitbit Health Solutions and Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care. She has also worked across international markets, with executive experience at Coca-Cola within sales management and strategic marketing.

Carolyn holds a BS from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. In recognition of her work, she was among the Top 50 Women Leaders in Wellness and Fitness in 2023.

Chris Fickle joined the DermaSensor executive leadership team in January 2026. Chris has a proven track record of success with medical device manufacturers and health IT companies at the forefront of digital and connected health. In his role as SVP, Sales and Business Development, Chris will apply his solution sales experience to accelerate DermaSensor adoption with enterprise customers in the primary care, specialty care and membership-based care market segments as well as develop joint business opportunities that result in sustained growth.

Prior to DermaSensor, Chris has developed and led sales organizations at Qualcomm, Optum, and Resmed among other leading healthcare technology and service organizations

Justin Frazier is Vice President of Clinical Affairs at DermaSensor, leading the company’s clinical function since 2017. He is responsible for clinical strategy and execution across DermaSensor’s global study portfolio and helped lead the clinical programs that supported DermaSensor’s FDA clearance in 2024.

With more than 17 years of experience in medical device clinical development, Justin has built and scaled clinical programs across start-up and large MedTech environments. His background includes leadership roles at ReWalk Robotics and Massachusetts General Hospital, working closely with regulatory, medical, and executive teams.

Justin holds a Master of Science in Regulatory and Clinical Research Management and is known for bringing operational rigor, regulatory discipline, and pragmatic execution to clinical programs supporting innovative medical technologies.

As a seasoned professional, Jacqueline has over 25 years of marketing and product management experience in life sciences and financial sectors. Jacqueline specializes in crafting and executing comprehensive global marketing strategies for brands, product launches, and acquisitions.

Having previously worked in key roles at Abbott and American Express, Jacqueline carved out her career in marketing and product management, steadily advancing within the organizations. These pivotal roles led her to DermaSensor, where she continues to drive innovation and excellence in marketing strategies with her demonstrated experience.

Heather Dombrosky (BSN, RN) has more than two decades of experience spanning high-acuity clinical care and medical technology implementation.

As a Registered Nurse, she spent over a decade in pediatric critical care at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, which shaped her practical, clinician-centered approach to healthcare innovation.

Later transitioning into medical technology, she supported health systems in adopting and integrating solutions within real-world clinical workflows. She has worked in diverse healthcare environments across both the US and internationally, with experience in clinical adoption, implementation strategy, and cross-functional collaboration supporting provider partnerships and growth initiatives.

Based in Miami, Heather guest lectures for graduate students at the University of Miami Herbert Business School and School of Nursing, focusing on healthcare innovation and the responsible integration of emerging technologies into patient care.

Dr. Ferre is the current CEO of InSightec, the former CEO of MAKO Surgical and a former VP at GE Healthcare. He has had multiple successful medical device exits (MAKO sold to Stryker for ~$1.7B), three CE marks, and successfully commercialized two products.

David Matlin is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MatlinPatterson and serves on the Boards of Directors of portfolio companies Flagstar Bank, CalAtlantic Group, Inc. and is also a director of Matlin & Partners Acquisition Corporation.

Founder and President of The Cannon Group Inc, aka, Cannon Films, the first independent film company, Christopher later became a partner at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Christopher is a Founding board member of Mako Surgical, (MAKO) and an early investor in companies such as Magic Leap and Auris Surgical.

A Board Observer for DermaSensor, Russell is a serial entrepreneur and executive (CEO, CMO) of digital health and medical device companies. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Russell was a lead interventional cardiologist at Florida Heart Group where he was also Founder and President of the Central Florida IPA and on the Board of Florida Hospital.

As an observer for DermaSensor, Mark Goldwasser brings over 40 years of Wall Street experience, having held senior roles at firms such as Bear Stearns, Lazard Frères, Jefferies, and ING Barings. He served as CEO of National Securities and Executive Chairman of its parent company, where he led major acquisitions and co-founded Robotic Ventures, the country’s first venture capital fund focused on robotics. The fund backed companies including iRobot, which went public, and Z Cat, which later became Mako Surgical. Mark has raised tens of billions across global markets and now serves as CEO of Ceros Financial Services, which manages over $7.5 billion in assets.

Dr. Bigio is the original inventor and patent holder for Elastic Scattering Spectroscopy. He is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University and one of the top spectroscopy researchers in the world. He has authored over 200 scientific publications on non-linear and biomedical optics with more than 30 on tissue dysplasia and malignancy characterization.

A Yale School of Medicine Professor of Dermatology & Surgery Chief, Dr. Leffell is the author of more than 150 publications including the popular book ‘Total Skin’. He specializes in skin cancer and melanoma diagnosis and surgical treatment. The Cutaneous Oncology Unit that he founded in 1988 now performs specialized surgical treatment on more than 3,500 patients annually.

John is President of Solano Dermatology Associates and Clinical Professor, Depts of Dermatology and Pathology at UCSF. He is a leader in Dermatologic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and boarded in Dermatopathology. He has a Clinical Research background in basal cell carcinoma, with Referral Practice in Dermatopathology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery.

A physician with Grand Rounds and holds a MS in Health Care Administration from Trinity University. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He speaks nationally on topics ranging from cardiovascular disease, to medical ethics, to health care economics and policy. Dr. Thames has over 25 years of experience in medicine and the practice of health care administration.

Dr Paul Salmon is a Dermatologist specialising in Dermatologic Surgery and Mohs facial skin cancer surgery in Tauranga and Auckland. He has over 20 years experience in Mohs, reconstructive, and cosmetic dermatologic surgery, with more than 50 published scientific papers on skin cancer.

Holly has a passion for helping primary care providers learn Dermatology and has been teaching for 3 years at One Medical Group. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF, where she completed medical school and her Dermatology training, including Mohs.

As CMO for DermaSensor and liaison for the SAB, Cristiane has extensive dermatology, digital health and business leadership experience. She completed both an MD and a PhD, co-founded two digital health companies, practiced as a dermatologist for several years in Brazil, and was a Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She also holds an MBA from the Wharton School.

Dr. Jane Grant-Kels is Professor and founding Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) Health Center and Medical School. She was the founding director of the dermatology residency program and founding director of the dermatopathology laboratory and the melanoma program.
